One Week Left

It's officially a week away from the big move date, and we only have the dining room packed.

Bella has been very helpful by making sure she wakes up every night for a couple of hours, to ensure our sleep is disrupted. Work has been a piece of cake and not much is going on there. And with our ample amounts of free time, packing and moving in the 90+ degree weather seems like a wonderful activity to partake in.

No I'm not sarcastic. I'm just hoping Colby will do it all.....I mean if she has time to play dress-up why can't she pack and move everything!!

Okay so maybe I'm a procrastinator and I need to get busy.....here's wishing us all good luck!

The Big Move is Coming

I don't think Bella knows what to expect. But we did indeed buy a new house and sell our existing house, all in the span of 3 weeks. So we are pretty excited about it. Now we have the big move date of June 25th and a whole new house to renovate (all in good time).

Take Me Out to the Ball Game...........

Saturday Bella took in her first official tailgate and Royals game. It was a warm 90 degrees out, but luckily we found some shade and there was a nice breeze. Bella did great, granted none of us really paid much attention to the actual game, but it was a good time had by all.

Frustrations

My frustrations for the day:

1. Being woken up early in the morning (say 6:20 this morning) by Bella who then decides she can fall back asleep comfortably in our bed, but now I'm awake and can't sleep in like I wanted.

2. And here is the big one. Selling our house. We have had many showings, and already have had 3 repeat buyers who wanted to look at our house twice. But every time there is some simple reason they don't end up wanting it. And the frustrating thing is we get our hopes up and then they say "we just couldn't make a 3 bedroom work". Well you have known it was a three bedroom since before you ever came to look at it, as it's in the description. Same with another buyer who didn't want to spend over $200k and came twice. They knew the price before they came the first time, if they can't spend over that, why even come look? Just frustrating!!

We're Home

We spent 6 wonderful days in St. Lucia this past week. Here are some pictures of our helicopter ride, which was one of the best things we have ever done on any trip and highly recommended. It was nice to be away, but it's always nicer to get back home. Bella had a good time in Nebraska and sounds like she had plenty of company to come and see her all the time. And of her supposed new trick on completely rolling on her own....well we haven't seen it yet. But Grandma Sneller says she has witnesses that saw it happen too!!

Grandma Sneller is saying goodbye to us this week, and we have hired a summer nanny. She starts the Tuesday after Memorial Day weekend. It should be a very exciting and interesting summer for us. We still have our house on the market, and are very hopeful we can sell. At least we better, since we have already found a new house. More information to come on that one.

Greetings from St. Lucia

Thought we would give a quick "Hello" from the island of St. lucia. Bella is enjoying her vacation in Nebraska with grandma and grandpa Sneller. We hear she has learned to roll over completely. This would be a first for her, and I guess if it's true, we might just have to take more vacations so she can learn to sit up and crawl!!

We have been busy!

Okay so I know it's been awhile since I posted.....we have been busy. We just put our house on the market today, and have spent the past week trying to get it all cleaned and put the finishing touches on everything. I don't have any pictures of Bella to post yet. Bella has been sick for about the past 2 months. We all fought colds for about 3 weeks, we were all just getting over them, and then last week Bella got sick again. It hasn't been much fun. Once Bella is feeling better, I promise to post pictures. And let you know how this whole selling our house, buying a new house, and moving goes. One might ask...."What have we gotten ourselves into?"
